Who may buy

itbudgit is sold to businesses only. A valid VAT number is required at checkout. This is not a preference: selling to consumers changes the VAT treatment, and the product is not built or priced for it.

The subscription

Plans are annual. The price is displayed per month for comparison and billed once a year. All prices exclude VAT, which is added where due.

The term renews automatically at the end of each year unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Changing plan

Upgrades take effect immediately, and the difference is invoiced at once.
Downgrades take effect at your renewal date, not before. You keep the plan you bought for the term you bought it.
A scheduled downgrade can be cancelled at any time before it takes effect.

Refunds

Nothing is refunded mid-term. A downgrade does not produce a refund. It changes what you are charged at renewal. A cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not return the current year.

This is stated plainly because a refund policy discovered after the fact is worse than a strict one known in advance.

Editor seats

Each plan includes a number of editor seats. A seat is held by anyone who can edit, which includes Admins; people who only read never hold one. If a workspace holds more seats than the plan allows, editing pauses for everyone until seats are released. Nobody is removed, and nothing is deleted. Reading, exporting, managing seats and subscribing all remain available while editing is paused, because a block whose only remedy sits behind the block is a lockout.

Your data

Your data is yours. Export it at any time as a workbook. On cancellation you retain access to export until the end of the paid term. See GDPR for retention and erasure.

Availability

No uptime SLA is offered. itbudgit is run by one person and best effort is what can honestly be promised today. When an SLA can be measured and honoured, it will be published here with its numbers.

Liability

itbudgit is a planning and reconciliation tool. It does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice, and the figures it produces are yours to verify. Liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding a claim, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law.
